The theoretical calculation and testing of the profiles for INCOPERFIL free-standing roofs has been undertaken in accordance with the stipulations contained in EUROCODE-3 by the teaching unit of the Higher Technical School for Industrial Engineers (ETSII) at the Valencia University Polytechnic(UPV).

They have been verified by means of tests carried out by the teaching unit at the Higher Technical School for Industrial Engineers (ETSII) at the Valencia University Polytechnic(UPV).

Additionally, a free-standing roof calculation programme that enables the size of each roof, as well as the forces which are transferred to the structure, to be determined has been developed.
