Façade rehabilitation projet with INCOBends Letezl in Zaldibar (Vizcaya) - Spain
It is a complete rehabilitation of a house in Zaldibar (Vizcaya). The outer sheet is solved by the ventilated façade system INCOBends Letezl, which ensures the ventilation of the chamber and prevents water from entering it.
The constructive solution of the facade is composed of an inner sheet block thermal clay, 50 mm insulation rock wool double density, 50 mm air chambre and the outer sheet finishing formed by the INCOBends Letezl color system Grey RAL 7022. the façade ventilation is ensured by placing a perforated closure at the bottom, and the necessary openings arranged in the upper parts of each section of facade.
A random pattern cutting has been studied, where the size of the joints between pieces varies (25/50/75 mm) while the working width is kept between them. This consideration allowed to obtain the desired image, and in turn economized solving the façade to simplify their production process.
In several openings on the ground floor we proceeded to install the same pieces of perforated facade finishing, thus privacy is guaranteed and in turn the aesthetics of the whole was maintained.
A horizontal board runs the facade up to the bottom of the holes of the first floor. This is because the total height of the façade (7,30m) exceeded the maximum length of the pieces of INCOBends Letezl (6.00m). Thus 2700mm pieces are arranged on the ground floor and first floor 4600mm.
The solution flashings project has been solved with the system of standard parts in most meetings, except for the holes flush with the exterior carpentry requiring a specific solution flashings.
