Sandwich Roofing is made up of two ribbed sheets which are separated by  an auxiliary profile. An insulating material is placed between them. Both sides are put in situ.

• The internal ribbed sheet is the first layer of the enclosure. It is put and fixed on the purlins of the main structure directly. The type of the chosen sheet will comply with the mechanical and resistance exigencies demanded in the project.
• The auxiliary profile put on the first layer of the sandwich, has a double function:
  • It is used as separator  between the two layers in order to leave free space for the insulating.
  • to fix the outer layer of the enclosure.

This profile is made up of two pieces in the shape of an omega. The minimun thickness recommended is 0,80 mm. provided the resistence requirements do not oblige to a higher thickness.

• Insulation is the material with insulating capacity which avoid condesation  once it is  put between the two layers of the enclosure.
• The external ribbed sheet is the second layer of the enclosure. It is fixed on the auxiliary profile. The type of the chosen sheet will comply with the mechanical and resistance exigences demanded in the project.
