New construction for Cortes Metalúrgicos Oviedo in Valladolid - Spain
The industrial façade and composite slab systems are part of the solutions provided by Incoperfil in this new construction in the San Cristóbal industrial estate, Valladolid.
The company Cortes Metalúrgicos Oviedo has built a new industrial warehouse in the San Cristobal industrial estate (Valladolid) for the expansion of both the business structure and the improvement of its production processes.
This company, dedicated to the cutting and transformation of materials, needed a larger area with natural lighting to carry out its work, as well as a functional office area adapted to the current needs of the company.
The architect Óscar Miguel Ares has solved this project from its section, through a series of volumes of different heights, allowing natural light to enter the interior of the nave thanks to its orientation on the east-west axis. The skin of the building is conceived with the simple industrial façade system, executed with the INCO 44.6 Corrugated profile. This profile of exclusive design by Incoperfil, with its height of 44 mm and its wave passage of 155 mm, provides an excellent aesthetic finish to the building.
The floors of the offices have been resolved with the composite slab system. The profile used is the INCO 70.4 Composite slab profile which, due to its 70 mm depth, solves free spans of up to 4.00 m in the most efficient way without the need for shoring.
