Calculations and Tests

The theoretical resistance calculations for each of the thicknesses of the INCO 70.4 Composite Slab profiles were carried out by Higher Technical School for Industrial Engineers (ETSII) at the Valencia University Polytechnic (UPV).

They have been verified by tests carried out under Eurocode 3. Part 1-3.at the Laboratory forMmaterial Elasticity and Resistance at the Barcelona Higher Technical School for Industrial Engineers (ETSEIB).

INCOPERFIL’s Technical Department is at your disposition to carry out any calculations necessary to obtain the most accurate results in accordance with your project's parameters. Once the calculations have been completed, a report is generating indicating the following;

  • Optimum thickness of the INCO 70.4 Composite Slab profile,
  • Negative framework
  • Positive framework
  • Fire-resistance framework
  • Anti-fracture mesh
  • Total edging of the slab

Composite Slab's acting loads

* Description of the slab's use
 Housing and room areas in hospitals and hotels Storage spaces
 Areas with tables and chairs Areas with immovable chaires and open to the public
 Public areas without obstacles that impede people from moving freely, such as the lobbies of public and administrative buildings, hotels, exhibition spaces in museums. Public areas used as gymnasiums or dedicated to physical recreation
 Areas accessible by large crowds (concert halls, stadiums, etc.) Commercial premises
 Supermarkets, hypermarkets or large shopping areas Areas catering to the traffic and parking of light vehicles
 Privately-accessible people-bearing Roofs which are solely accessible for mainenance, with an inclination of less than 20º
 Roofs which are solely accessible for maintenance, with an inclination of more than 40º
